A printed version costs US$ 16.50 at the publisher. Add to this US$ 12.99 for postage, plus 6% VAT when entering the Netherlands through customs. I have therefore taken the initiative to ship the books in larger quantaties to Europe and distribute them there. The price will, including shipping to Europe, Dutch postage, VAT, customs clearance costs, amount to Euro 18.50 per book.
Shipping to elsewhere in Europe is also possible, at an extra charge of one and a half Euro, for 19.95 Euro. Only to the countries of the Postal Union: Albania, Andorra, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canary Islands, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France (including Corsica and Monaco), Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Channel Islands, Croatia, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Ukraine, Poland, Portugal (including Azores and Madeira), Romania, Russia (including Asian part), San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (including Balearic Islands, excluding Canary Islands), Turkey (including Asian part), Vatican City, United Kingdom, Belarus, Sweden, Switzerland.
The idea is to order in batches. The next order I will do on 1 June, 2011 for as many copies as I receive a payment. Then it can take a while for it to arrive in the Netherlands, but I will keep you informed of progress if I get an email address.
How to pay? Pay 18.50 Euro per copy (or 19.95 for shipment outside the Netherlands) to account 68.30.28.804 of J. Smits in Berkel en Rodenrijs. If you want to transfer money from outside the Netherlands, please use IBAN NL87INGB0683028804 and BIC INGBNL2A. Send an email with your address to jsmits@prize.nl so I can link the payment with the address. If I can not link a payment to an address or do not receive enough for a book, then I will refund. If there are major problems with supply, unforeseen additional costs, etc., then I refund the money.
You can also pay by credit card and PayPal. Even if you do not have PayPal. There is an extra charge for PayPal costs. First choose below where the book must be sent. On the next screen you can choose how many books you want, and 6% VAT is added.
With every shipment I add an invoice from my company The Prize Consultancy. In consultation with the customs and tax authorities of the Netherlands that was the easiest way to get the clearance charges and VAT arranged. Remember that this is a private initiative, without profit expectations, so I can not meet too many needs and requirements normally associated with commercial deliveries.
