When people "see" that is because of co-operation between light sensitive elements in our eyes, which send information to our brain, which "bakes" pictures. When digital devices capture images something similar happens. What is to be seen in reality is filtered by lenses, the resolution of the light sensitive elements of the camera, and the software that processes the information.

A future imáGROW chip in wide screen televisions can make the old standard (PAL: sixties) last another while. It will turn the television signals into High Definition Television (HDTV) gemaakt.
