N.B.: In 1997 an article was published worldwide on how at the end of the 90-s city policy is being devised, and how European projects can contribute to the integration of new media in the relation between city administrations and their citizens.

N.B.: At the review of the first phase by independent experts of the European Commission in April 1999 there was special attention for the "excellent project management". No small matter, because we were dealing with 17 European cities and 35 industrial partners.

On 1 July 1999 the The Hague City Council concluded that Infocities result in a city-wide-Intranet. This Residentie.Net was opened in April 2000. It is also one of the channels under VirtuHalls.
