In 1996 The Prize Consultancy won an SME Exploratory Award under Esprit in the 4th European Union Research and Technological Development (R&D) Framework Programme.
We develop new products based on our own research. Like from 1992 until 1995 the UNIDACS document exchange software. Those were scripts and other software to exchange documents between the then current word processors. Think of WordStar, WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS, WordPerfect for Windows, Word 2.0 for Windows, Word 5.0 for DOS and Rich Text Format. The predecessor of Firefox, Netscape, was not ready yet in 1994 (beta); Outlook and Internet Explorer did not exist.
A less successful project was TTGraph, to put graphics and logos in teletextpages. The image resolution of teletext after all is pretty low, and the language to format multi-coloured logos and images was difficult to generate.
Worldwide our FreqCopy software is in use, part of XMLTV tools, to quickly set up television channels on Hauppauge tv cards. Hauppauge even recommends it in one of their installation procedures.
Our most recent research and development project is imáGROW, to enlarge moving images. The application of this in for example widescreen televisions is promising.
More applications are on the Software page.
